About Us
In short, we’re Paul & Lisa – husband & wife team from the North East of England.
Paul has been involved in the subculture scene for pretty much all of his adult life, first as a little mod at school and then turning to the skinhead ska scene at around 16/17 years old.

Lisa is an 80’s girl, who grew up with Bros & Duran Duran but saw the light and started to get into the Ska scene around 20 years ago, and now favours Ska Punk, particularly the more modern bands that are kicking around right now. You’ll often find her well embedded in a ska-punk mosh pit!

Paul spent a few years running a Skinhead fanzine in the 90’s, which was imaginatively named “The Skinhead Fanzine”, which only ran for 10 issues but gave him the opportunity to interview the likes of Buster Bloodvessel, Bim Skala Bim, [spunge], The Rough Kutz and many more.
Later, he started the ‘Rude Rebel’ web site, a Ska music site concentrating on reviews and news, particularly in the UK which is still alive and kicking at RudeRebel.net

From that, we started to sell Rude Rebel merchandise (mainly t-shirts). This then led to us buying the kit to print our own, expanding the range and then thinking about other products.

Ultimately, this led to us starting Rude Rebel Clothing in August 2025. We launched with just four shirts but the reception & feedback was great so we expanded the range and continue to do so.
The future? Who knows? More shirts, new products and maybe an amazon style super distribution centre (OK, maybe not!)
